ACU is The Australian Catholic University, a public university funded by the Australian Government and open to students and staff of all beliefs. ACU - ASF Scholarship ACU supports the ASF initiative to enhance the management and accountability of not-for-profit organisations by offering up to five places for graduate study as a Graduate Certificate. The opportunity is for full or part-time study in 2012. The objective of this scholarship is to enable members of charitable organizations to undertake Postgraduate Studies in the programs of:
There are up to five scholarships available and each scholarship pays for 50-100% of tuition fees for the course being undertaken. Preferred not-for-profit organisations eligible for 100% scholarship include those with programs that maximise the education prospects of current and future generations of young people and / or creating employment readiness training and work experience opportunities for the long-term unemployed. All not-for-profits may apply.
The Scholarship is awarded jointly by ASF and ACU to applicants who are Australian citizens employed by a not-for-profit charitable organisation and whose completion of the Graduate Certificate would, in ASF’s view, benefit their employing organisation. Selection is based on applicants meeting ACU entry requirements for the nominated program and endorsement from the respective charitable organisation.
Closing Date
Scholarship applications for enrolment in Semester 1, 2012 close on 16 January 2012; Semester 2, 2012 close on 02 July 2012.
