CPA Australia and Australian Scholarships Foundation (ASF) offer up to 5 scholarships annually. The purpose of the scholarship is to enable managers and financial officers of registered charitable organisations to enhance their knowledge and skills to further contribute to the management and accountability of charitable not-for-profit organisations. The scholarship entitles recipients to exemption from all CPA Program professional level segments fees. The award does not cover completed segments fees prior to applying for the scholarship. |

Scholarships are effective from the date awarded and will be tenable for five years, subject to satisfactory progress by the recipients towards the completion of the CPA Program professional level. Applications must be received by 31 November, 2012 for scholarship recipients wanting to begin CPA Program professional level in semester one or by 31 May, 2013 for scholarship recipients wanting to begin CPA Program professional level in semester two. |

Selection CriteriaApplicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents employed by a not-for-profit charitable organisation and whose completion of the course would, in ASF's view, benefit their employing NFP organisation. Before you apply for the CPA Australia CPA Program Scholarship, you should check that you satisfy the entry criteria for the Program as set out on the CPA Australia website (www.cpaaustralia.com.au), as well as any other requirements of the program. The scholarship will only be awarded to persons eligible for admission to the CPA program. CPA Australia also requires the following: - applicants must be Associate members of CPA Australia or eligible to join CPA Australia at Associate level. - applicants must supply a certified copy of their degree if they are not Associate members of CPA Australia. - applicants must supply a certified copy of their transcripts if they are not Associate members of CPA Australia. |
