The Business School began its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in 1973. It has produced more than 3000 management graduates, the vast majority of whom now hold leadership positions in Australia and internationally. The UWA Business School attracts high achieving students, has outstanding links to industry through its corporate partners and has achieved international quality assessment accreditation from EQUIS. Our MBA is designed for those with a first degree who seek to enhance their management capabilities. The intent of our MBA is to expose you to the full range of management functional areas to provide you with the relevant skills and a conceptual framework which you may later reinforce with further on-the-job management experience. The UWA Business School has a commitment to ensuring our MBA program is relevant and valuable to the business community. To this end, we have outstanding links with our corporate partners and alumni whose generous financial support has enabled us to provide enhanced opportunities for our students through improved programs and scholarships. Our postgraduate student experience coordinator works with our partners and alumni to ensure that their generous contribution of time and expertise is seamlessly integrated into our student experience through guest lectures, real world boardroom experiences, and networking opportunities with some of Australia’s industry leaders. In addition, a culture of ethical and sustainability awareness is embedded into our MBA program through our curriculum, research programs and Visiting Fellow in Ethics and Entrepreneurship. Our aim is to raise the consciousness and capacity of students with respect to issues of ethics and sustainability, and to provide students with the tools that will enable them to address the type of values conflicts many of them will face in their careers. Our MBA program is taught within a brand new $50 million purpose built facility that encourages and facilitates increased collaboration between students, staff, alumni and our corporate partners. This world-class building represents a Major physical investment in business education in Western Australia.
