QUT - The George Alexander Foundation Scholarship - 2013

The George Alexander Foundation Scholarship is offered by the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (ACPNS). It aims to support future philanthropy and nonprofit students, thereby promoting the role of philanthropy in education.

Scholarship Overview

There are two types of scholarships available; a Graduate Certificate Scholarship or a Masters Scholarship. For the Graduate Certificate scholarship you'll receive $8000, paid in $1000 instalments upon successful completion of each six credit point unit, for up to two years. For the Masters scholarship you'll receive $24,000 paid in $2000 instalments upon successful completion of each 12 credit point unit, for up to four years.

Selection Criteria
You must: be an Australian citizen or permanent resident; have been offered a place in the BS39 Graduate Certificate in Business or BS16 Master of Business or BS17 Master of Business (Advanced) majoring in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies; be able to demonstrate financial need; have a work history in nonprofit organisation or career goals in this area.
