Deakin Graduate School of Business supports the initiative of ASF to improve the management and accountability of charitable not-for-profit organisations in Australia.

Deakin Graduate School of Business (DGSB), the Origin Foundation and ASF are pleased to offer 3 x $1200 scholarships per annum to attend an MBA Residential Unit at graduate level to staff of charitable not-for-profit organisations.  100% scholarships and travel expenses are available to selected organisations that deliver programs that maximise the education prospects of current and future generations of young people and / or create employment readiness training and work experience opportunities for the long-term unemployed.

Scholarships will be offered to directors and managers of charitable not-for-profit organisations who meet agreed selection criteria.

Conditions of eligibility and award

The Origin Foundation / ASF / DGSB Scholarship may be awarded to an applicant who -

• is a director of, or employed by, a charitable not-for-profit organisation
• meets the educational requirements for entry to the program
• has the support of their organisation as shown by a letter of support from their CEO or, if the applicant is the CEO or a director, from the Chair of the organisation’s Board of Directors
• demonstrates that the successful completion of the program will benefit their organisation
• preferred not-for-profit organisations include those with programs that maximise the education prospects of current and future generations of young people and / or creating employment readiness training and work experience opportunities for the long-term unemployed (note that this is a preferred criteria, not mandatory)
• is an Australian citizen or permanent resident
