Company Directors Course, Women's Regional, Rural and Remote Diversity Scholarship - AICD (2021)

Thank you to the Australian Scholarships Foundation for the opportunity to undertake the Australian Institute of Company Directors course. The scholarship was awarded to women living in rural Australia and I was fortunate enough to be a successful candidate. As a result, I was able to attend the face to face five-day course in Melbourne which enabled me to meet and work with exceptional people from all walks of life and professions. The course was challenging but it was thoroughly engaging from beginning to end. The course has helped to build my confidence, knowledge and expertise as a board member as I cannot recommend it highly enough. Without the assistance of the Australian Scholarship Foundation, I may not have had the opportunity to attend this course. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Foundation for supporting rural woman to achieve their goals and in supporting rural women to have a voice in the executive space.
