The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) is Australia's membership institute for directors. It is dedicated to making a positive impact on the economy and society by promoting professional directorship and good governance.
Australian Institute of Company Directors delivers knowledge and continuing learning in the field of directorship; enriches the capabilities of members with information, services, events and networks; influences the corporate governance environment in Australia; and promotes understanding of and respect for the role of directors.
AICD supports the ASF initiative to enhance the management and accountability of not-for-profit organisations.
As part of the Bankwest Foundation Community Leader Scholarship Program, AICD and ASF have joined forces with the Bankwest Foundation to offer multiple fully funded scholarships to not-for-profit staff living and working in Western Australia. The following scholarships are available in 2017:

The Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors will provide participants with an understanding of fundamental compliance and performance related roles and responsibilities of directors, specifically in the areas of governance, risk, financial performance and strategy.

The Company Directors Course, first run in 1975, is the most established director program in the world and has played a vital role in founding director knowledge and governance standards in Australia. Over five days you will develop your director skills by exploring the director's role and responsibilities. After completing the course, you should not only understand your roles and responsibilities, but also improve your contributions to board performance.
We have 6x 100% scholarships available to attend the course between May and July 2017.
